About Our Office
Seal Beach Dental Implants & Periodontics has been serving the communities of Seal Beach, Long Beach, Bellflower, Lakewood, Garden Grove, Westminster and Huntington Beach for over 35 years. Our office has been at its current convenient location at the intersection of Westminster Boulevard and Seal Beach Boulevard since 2004.
What Is a Periodontist?
A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the placement of dental implants and the treatment of the gum and bone tissues surrounding the teeth. Periodontists have advanced training beyond dental school in dental implant placement and the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease.
Meet Dr. Aslam, Board-Certified Periodontist
For over a decade, Dr. Sheryar Aslam has been helping people like you restore the health and function of their mouths with effective gum disease treatment, cosmetic gum care and state-of-the-art dental implant placement.
Dr. Aslam earned his expertise in the field of Dental Implants by training for 7 years at both New York University (NYU) and the University of Connecticut (UCONN), becoming a Board Certified Specialist in Periodontics in 2008.
He went on to work at Unite Here Health Dental Center in Los Angeles, CA, where he became director of a 10,000 + square foot facility that served over 5000 families, with a 50 person staff composed of dentists, assistants, hygienists and lab technicians. He has placed thousands of dental implants and completed the most challenging of cases, restoring the ability of patients to smile and chew again.
At Seal Beach Dental Implants, his focus is on high quality, individualized patient care. He uses what he has learned over more than 15 years of experience to improve oral health and allow patients to regain the ability to smile and chew again.

Dr. Aslam uses a cone beam CT scanner to obtain highly detailed 3D X-rays of your entire oral anatomy.
Low-radiation digital X-rays provide crisp, detailed images that can be viewed almost immediately.
Dr. Aslam uses special implant planning software to simulate your dental implant placement surgery in advance and ensure a smooth and efficient procedure.
